TheaudiocontrolsystemsnomPA1augmentsyourexistingSIPPBXwithanothercomponentofmoderncommunication.ThesnomPA1unitesthefunctionsofatelephonewithahigh-performancedigitalamplifierforbroadcastingannouncementsandsupplyingbackgroundmusictoassignedrooms,hallways,andofficefloors.

AnannouncementviasnomPA1iseffectedsimplybyinitiatingacallfromasnomtelephonewithitshandset,headset,orviahandsfreemode.Anefficient4Wattamplifierprovidessufficientcoveragefortheentireroomorfloorspace.

SeveralsnomPA1unitscanbeconnectedtoeachotherviathebuilt-inswitchandcanbeconnectedwithanyavailableloudspeakeronthemarket,thusenablingcustomersagreatcost-savingcontributionwithalreadyinstalledcomponents.Theindividualnetworkcablescanbeupto100meterslong.ThesnomPA1canbeoptionallyinstalledonwallsorceilings.

ThesnomPA1canbepower-fedeitherviaconventionalpowersupplyunitconnectionorthroughPower-over-Ethernet(PoE).ThespecificaddressingofindividualsnomPA1controlsystemscanbecentrallyconfiguredviathedevice’swebinterface.

AsideoftheleadingSIPprotocol,thesnomPA1canalsobeaddressedviaMulticast,thusenablingonetransmittertosimultaneouslyaddressmanyreceivers.Aswithallothersnomterminals,updatesandconfigurationchangesforthesnomPA1canbecentrallyeffectedovertheserver.

Formaintenancepurposes,thesnomPA1hastwo3.5mmjacksforheadsetconnection.FourfreelyprogrammableoutputpinscanbeutilizedforcontrollingthesnomPA1viaitswebinterface.
